Upon acceptance for publication
Upon acceptance of publication, Hollow City reserves first digital publication rights and initial serial publication rights for up to 18 months after initial publication.
Copyright and ownership of the work belongs to the author. The author may request, at any time and at his or her discretion, to have original work removed from the Hollow City website or digital publications. Upon acceptance in any print publication, the author accepts the rights of Hollow City to continue digital publication of work as a part of the promotion of that work in non-digital, printed form.
The Hollow City editorial staff retains the right to remove any piece of work from the Hollow City website for any reason based on the needs of Hollow City, the perceived or real ramification to Hollow City or its staff or any other future publications. Hollow City will also remove works presented as original and where sufficient evidence exists for plagiarism, from the Hollow City website.
No initial cash or monetary payments currently exist for those attempting to publish through Hollow City. Payment for original work will exist in the form of royalty payments paid to the author on a quarterly basis in perpetuity not to exceed the one-third (1/3) of revenue generated through advertisements or donations to Hollow City on pages directly associated with an authors work. Pages that link to an authors work within Hollow City do not constitute a direct association. Only pages where a significant portion of the authors work is present, and no other authors work is present, will qualify for the royalty payments.

This notice to be updated at any time by Hollow City staff or duly authorized representatives and does not represent a legally binding agreement prior to publication.
